I'd rather photograph what others haven't.
Or photograph what others have, but make it my own.
I started taking photos of e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g and anything.
Now I am more selective of what I photograph, and when.
So now I don't photograph as much, but I like my photographs more.

I became interested in photography well before the advent of digital photography, but because of the high cost of film photography I didn't begin taking "serious" photographs until I got a digital camera.
Many have jumped on the digital "bandwagon" and before my move to Northern California I belonged to a camera club where the competition was extremely stiff and to many, it seemed competition was the prime motivator for taking photos. I learned a lot, had tons of fun and made a great number of friends, but now I just enjoy taking photographs for the sheer joy of the shoot, without the pressure of the competition.
I hope you enjoy looking at my photos as much as I enjoy taking them!
